A yard that does not fit the kit
A boxed pool kit assumes a flat, open, empty piece of ground. Very few back yards in the Detroit area are that. There is a slope, a tree with roots, a fence line, a deck, an air conditioner, a utility run. The pool you want and the space you have are rarely the same shape.
The other version of the same problem is the pool that is already built and is in the wrong place. It is too close to the house, it is shading the garden, a deck is going in, or the family is moving the whole yard around. Moving a pool is its own kind of work, and it goes better when someone who builds them is the one planning it.
From digging to plumbing to filling
We build custom pools, both indoor and outdoor, in-ground and above ground. Because every yard is different, we will give you a detailed diagnosis of the pool's features and the suggested work necessary to utilize available space to save you time and money. That diagnosis comes first, before anyone breaks ground.
After that we walk you through the job from digging to plumbing to filling, so you know what is happening in what order and what it is for. The ground is prepared, the structure goes up, the plumbing and equipment are set, and the pool is filled and brought up to proper water.
For relocation, we move existing pools: taking the pool down, getting it to its new spot and setting it back up. Chemicals, filters and accessories for the finished pool are available from us as well.
A walk-through before you swim
When the pool is full, we walk it through with you. You see how the equipment runs, what to keep an eye on, and who to call about it. Nothing about a new pool should be a mystery on the first weekend.
